Tamil Nadu Government encouraging Rural BPO

The Tamil Nadu government is encouraging companies to set up rural Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Centres in the region utilising an incentive-based approach. Government officials added that they have asked colleges to offer training to students to make them employable in BPO sector as they qualified as graduates. They added “"Our job is to bring the entrepreneurs and companies on to one platform. First we have to finalise the companies (for providing the work) and we have to identify those entrepreneurs who are ready to provide basic infrastructure."
