Despite the backlash, Indian BPOs going strong!

Politics is one thing and business is another. Indian BPO are busy sending a message to US politicians that, they can certainly play to the gallery due to their electoral compulsions, however, the business over here, will continue as usual.

WNS (Holdings) Limited one of the leading provider of global Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services, just announced its collaboration with Concur, a leading provider of integrated travel and expense management solutions. WNS will now offer Concur’s industry-leading solutions to its clients and Concur will offer WNS’s transformation, re-engineering, project management and data analysis services to its clients in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). As a partner in EMEA, WNS will offer its BPO services to Concur’s existing and prospective clients as they look to automate the travel and expense management process. 

Last week, Hinduja Global Solutions (HGS) Inc, the US subsidiary of BPO firm Hinduja Global Solutions, signed an agreement to acquire Deloitte’s healthcare revenue cycle outsourcing business. The company did not disclose the acquisition amount of the all-cash transaction.

More happy news pours in as Bank of America Merrill Lynch has upgraded Infosys and Tech Mahindra  to 'buy' from 'neutral' citing improved revenue confidence and hopes of better earnings.The investment bank says anecdotal evidence indicates deal closures are picking up and softness in the banking vertical is bottoming. Infosys rose 1.7 percent, while Tech Mahindra gained 1.8 percent.
