The list of 2009’s best outsourcing service providers – The Global Outsourcing 100™ has been published as in the past years. Accenture, IBM, Sodexo, Tata Consultancy Services and Wipro Technologies are once again on the top of the list.
2009 is the fourth year when the Global Outsourcing 100™ is published. The following characteristics have been used for ranking of the companies: size and growth, customer references, organizational competencies, and management capabilities.
75 leading companies from the list have average annual revenues of USD 2.6bn. The yearly revenue growth amounts to 13.3%. They represent 13 countries and employ about 38,000 staff. The average annual growth in the number of employees amounts to 17.6%. 38 companies are new on the list 2009 while 28 appear on the list each year. These figures and facts show a big dynamics in the outsourcing industry.
