Mouchel creditors demand review of business

The outsourcing firm Mouchel’s creditors have enlisted a hit squad from Deloitte to carry out an urgent review of its business as it tries to refinance its £180 million ($281m) credit facility. The company, which has issued a series of profit warnings, has already been ordered to take a ‘more cautious view’ on payments for several projects by its auditor PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Western Australia Shared Services Project struggling to succeed!

The Western Australia government initiated a shared services project in 2003 that was focused on providing services through a series of shared service centres for 90 public sector agencies. The project had a number of teething problems that led to the completion date blowing out from 2006 to 2013, and the budget increasing from $91 million to over $400 million. Hertfordshire County Council in £200 million outsourcing deal with Serco

Hertfordshire County Council has signed an eight year, £200 million deal with services giant Serco for the provision of a range of front and back office services, including ICT – a deal it hopes will deliver as much as £25 million annual savings over the period.

MphasiS joins billion dollar club

MphasiS, an HP company, registered a consolidated revenue of Rs 5,037 crore (USD 1,099.3 million) for the year ended October 31, crossing USD one billion mark for the first time. The Bangalore-based company took about 12 years to achieve this.
