East Africa’s third fibre-optic cable arrives ahead of schedule

The East African Submarine System of EASSY, the last of three major fibre optic cables coming to East Africa, landed in Mombasa this week, two weeks ahead of schedule. This is the third cable to land in Kenya in the last six months and marks the start of a new level of connectivity for East-Africa.

Kenyan ‘Kollaboration’

I’ve just returned from a whirlwind tour of the US with a quick breeze through London on my return. I did manage to fit a number of new business meetings in, but this trip had a slightly different focus. This time I got to visit my old stomping ground at Dartmouth College along with visits to Harvard, MIT and Boston University business schools. Kenya and the UK

My trip to the UK last week turned out to be a resounding success for KenCall and was a great sign for Kenya itself. From the interest it generated it’s clear we are really starting to get through to the right people, in the right areas. There was much more knowledge of Kenya in the outsourcing sphere and people were very open to finding out more.
