Well, what a week... How relevant is NSR...

The NSR (National skills registry program) initiated by Nasscom is about to touch half a million by march 2009.

ET reports that " National Skills Registry (NSR), the IT-ITeS industry database of employees to counter impersonation and fake CVs, will finally touch half-a-million registration mark by March 2009. Nasscom is now looking at tie-ups with universities for registration of students about to join the workforce.

Reading the discussions going on on BPOVoice is an eye-opening experience for anyone like me operating on the edge of the BPO space (I don’t mean physically, guys…).
