BPO schools turn hot....

Recently there were some discussions on the decreasing quality of the resources available . Just caught on this news item on indiatimes. here is the extract "The acute skill mismatch in the labour-intensive BPO industry is spawning a whole new breed of BPO schools in the country.

Legal and ethical issues when employers check applicants’ profile on social networking sites

Employers are looking at the Facebook, MySpace, and blogs of prospective employees, even internship applicants, in order to make hiring decisions. Is this legal? Ethical?

There is not a lot of case law yet regarding social media. Many situations simply have not been tested in court, so there is little in the way of guidance at present. But we do know a few things.
