- Professionally, I have been in the publishing field all of my professional life and have enjoyed the business and the intellectual side of the industry. As a child and young adult, I was very athletic and went to college on a baseball scholarship which my parents especially appreciated. Have published professional, scholarly articles on composition, William Faulkner, and Thomas Carlyle, and an avid reader of classical fiction, non-fiction, and science, especailly evolution. One of my favorite authors is Richard Dawkins. I recenlty married a wonderful woman from the Philippines and we are planning to start a family soon, so I am a late bloomer in that area. I have a wonderful 15 year old son from a previous marriage and he is the light of my life, and we spend a great deal of time together.
