According to media reports, EXL Service is eyeing global acquisitions in China and Latin America for acquisitions in the range of $25 to $75 million over the next three quarters.
EXL Service, CEO, Rohit Kapoor said - "Last two years has been good in the US for EXL with seven small centres and 500 employees. If we find a right company or a green-field, we would have presence in China, Latin America and few more locations in emerging nations."
He further added that Philippines offers big potential though India would remain a leader in BPO industry. Philippines may become a competitor and therefore many companies from here are setting up centres. The Nasdaq listed firm has 19,000 employees in India with more than 200 customers. EXL Service offers services for banking, insurance, healthcare, legal processes and accounting.
Exl also plans to recruit five to six thousand employees on an annual basis.
