Greetings!!! So i am back again with some new topic which is normally not discussed on Forum or anywhere else. May be people don't want to share their successful tactics. However i don't mind spending few minutes after writing this post and disclose the main tactics for business development or procurement.
Normally i have seen people on this forum shouts about good non-voice process or some good process. Sometimes i think the people who post such project are fake but the people who also shout about fake non-voice project are also fake people. Because my question if you don't have non-voice process which you are actually looking for your center, Than what are you doing to survive???... I have been member of this Social Media from almost last 6 months... The old member are there at same position looking for non-voice process and new members join these social networking site and immediately join the Association of "No Non-Voice Process" and starts shouting on Non-voice process.
Many people talk a lot about how to prevent non-voice process from the market or fraudsters from the industry etc etc. Blah Blah Blah.
The problem is not the Industry, The problem is not these fake non-voice process or the problem is not even the fake people. The problem is you tolerate such people. Sometimes i feel that the people who are actually saying that they have been victim of this fake non-voice process are also one among all fraudster... Just trying manipulate... Because serious businessman don't shout or blame on industry, however they always try to find new ways of getting good business. If they don't find such way they would simply change the Industry or would join the the company who are successful in the Industry....
To be honest there are many tactics for business development but i won't share it in positive way rather i would interested in showing negative signs.
Normally the people who are posting the project and claims that they have this or they have that project etc always post their project on website were project posting is free or its free to enter the forum. However there are bunch of websites where client has to pay certain fees to post their project as well as service provider also need to pay some fees for it. The best part of such website is that consultant and people who claims that they have non-voice project do not get entry on such website. Actually fake people would never post such project there because it cost money.... Now these consultant and fake people who don't have few dollars to have their own website or professional email address and talk about millions of dollar project. Give me break....
Many of us know that there are many sites available on which after having paid registration we can bid on the projects and procure business. Yes let me add here those projects are not much big in size but at least they are not fake and we got paid. If you are really good and understand the term business development you can simply bid on projects and can procure few business from good client and can feed your center and employees with some genuine work. Also if you are really hardworking and dedicated person, who always search one big break or opportunity than i guess you keep have to work hard after business development and after the client you get from the business development. If in past if you have provide best in class service to any of your client no matter the project was small in size than i am sure that client will come back to you again and again and would discuss many other project which can be explored with your company.
Secondly, Your client is the best reference and source of other client. I mean to say if any of your client had good experienced working with your organization than you can ask them if he have any further project or campaign which he would like your org. to do or you can ask him to refer your business in his business circle or to his friends. Always if you really get business through your previous client than always compensate the work of your previous client. Because business is after all a business.
Third thing which is most important and my favorite is Business Process Analysis or Research. As per me this is the best way to get new client. Any client would like to outsource if you really know and understand his business process. Most of the time client don't go for outsourcing his business process to any offshore center because of few reason like Data Security, Leakage, Improper Quality, Lack of business process understanding and most important once he outsource his process to any offshore center than its not easy to take back the process from center to in-house. Now this reason can avoided by client only if you are a reliable organization and that is possible only if you are in this business from long time. As we all know that small and mid-sized centers are closing on high rate, the reliability what a client is always looking for can't be developed and finally the center loses the project. However client cannot outsource it to any other big company because for that first of all his own business should be enough big to match that level where he can outsource that much work to offshore center.
