While chief executive turnover has decreased overall within the past year, top spots in the banking industry are still on shaky ground, according to a recent survey by Challenger Gray & Christmas.
In September, 105 CEOs left their posts, down from 140 during the same period last year – a 25 percent decrease in overall turnover. On a quarter-to-quarter basis, turnover remained virtually unchanged as CEO exits increased only by four last month, compared to 101 exits in August, according to the survey.
