Asian countries to dominate global BPO

"Asian countries, including the Philippines, are touted to dominate the global outsourcing industry, forecasted to reach a $1.3 trillion by 2020, according to an Indian executive.

Dr. Ganesh Natarajan, vice chairman and chief executive of India's Zensar Technologies, said Asia will capture about 80 to 85 percent of the total market by 2020.

“The future of outsourcing belongs to Asia and we see the region capturing between 80 to 85 percent of the industry. The market is open to all kinds of players and whether you are from India, the Philippines, China or Malaysia—you must seize the opportunity to grow inroads in this huge market,” said Natarajan."
